I recently discovered an indie cosmetic line, Winky Lux, while researching strobing creams, a/k/a highlighting or luminizing products. The Winky Lux line launched with nine product categories geared toward fashion forward millennials in October of last year. The brand’s concept is simple, cut out the middle man by selling direct to consumers so that they can offer luxury quality products at mass market prices. Every product in the brand’s collection is made in the United States, free of harmful chemicals and cruelty-free. To encourage buyers to share their experience on social media, each product is tagged with a hashtag.
To date, Winky Lux is best known for limited edition collaborations with famed YouTubers and Instagram stars including Marzia Bisognin and the BETCHES. Today’s blog post features Light Box Strobe Illuminators, three different shades of very pigmented, creamy highlighters designed by Orion Carloto, Sam Fazz and Lily Lane, a/k/a O+S+L.
